All of Me
Dir. Arturo González Villaseñor
2016
90 minutes
“Love is the only thing that grows when it is given away.” Antoine de Saint-Exupéry
Synopsis
An intimate look at “Las Patronas,”a group of Mexican women who every day since 1995, cook food and throw it still warm to the migrants who travel atop the cargo train “The Beast,” on the way to the United States. A personal diary which traces the border between the life they were born into, and the life that they choose. A brave and surprising example of love and solidarity that contrasts with the violence of one of the cruelest and harshest routes for undocumented travelers.
All of Me has participated in more than 70 festivals and screenings around the world, including San Francisco International Film Festival, Edinburg International Film Festival, Ambulante Mexico, Ambulante Colombia, DocsDF.
